Group Music Classes for Our Youngest Students and Families
The European Academy of Arts offers early music group courses, specially designed for the youngest students, from one year of age. These fun, interactive courses are presented both at our partner schools as well as at the premises of EAA.
Children are able to learn at an astonishing rate from the earliest age. Studies show that exposure to music stimulates children’s intellectual and emotional development simultaneously. From appreciation to the music itself, from development of acute sensory perception to one’s ability to memorize, logical and creative thinking, benefits of early music education are irreplaceable, lasting a lifetime. Highest-quality music education for a child is one of the best investments a caring parent can make.
During these types of classes, your child will:
Develop essential skills of listening to music
Play musical games
Sing songs and nursery rhymes
Reproduce different rhythms by clapping hands or tapping objects
Learn beginner’s dancing movements, such as footsteps, turns and claps, by following the rhythm of music
Be introduced to musical instruments
Create musical stories and fairy tales
Create little musical theater plays by using toys and basic musical instruments
And way more…

Family Fun/Sing & Move group class allows our toddler students to sing their and their parents’ favorites together, or by themselves. This class offers a wonderful preparation for proper voice or instrument studies, while the youngest musicians learn the basics of singing, rhythm, and harmony. These early musical adventures inspire and encourage children to pursue music, and enjoy it for the rest of their lives.
In addition to singing, Family Music/Sing & Move course combines physical exercise and body language with that of the music. Small stage plays, Broadway musicals and their fragments, scenes are practiced, and rehearsed, once children learn to sing together in a group. Students develop the rudimentary skills of acting, dancing and performing at the same time. Some of the benefits of Family Fun/Sing & Move include:
Musical experiences in early childhood accelerate brain and sensory development.
Babies are able to distinguish their mother’s voice from an early age.
Exposure to music enhances child’s natural ability to decode sounds and words.
Singing can help your baby identify sound patterns and learn through repetition. By mastering the skill, toddlers build the base of literacy and numeracy.
Music is an incredible mood lifter for any child. If your toddler has regular mood swings, our program could help turn that around.
Music helps toddlers build coordination. It encourages children’s inclination to move, developing their fine motor skills and gross motor skills.
Music can help toddlers develop their vocabulary. Even though at first the toddlers may not understand the words in a song, they do develop their understanding by identifying the storytelling in a song.
